Chili garlic chicken & garlic noodles

Most of us are mad after Indo Chinese food and can’t resist it at all times. So here i bring a simple yet delicious Non-veg recipe of garlic chicken and chilli garlic noodles.You can try both the recipes together or just one of them.

Ingredients for chicken dish:-

  1. 500gm boneless chicken(cut small chunks)
  2. 2-3 whole dried red chillies
  3. 10gm garlic and ginger
  4. 200gm onions (cut dices)
  5. 1 capsicum,2 bell peppers,50gm broccoli, 2 spring onions (any veggies you like)
  6. 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  7. 1 teaspoon honey
  8. 100gm cornstarch
  9. 300ml oil for frying

METHOD:-

Wash chicken thoroughly and place the chunks loosely spaced on a tray. Now dust the chicken with cornstarch and pinch of salt and shallow fry the chunks in hot oil till golden brown over medium flame.

Lets start the final dish, take a deep non-stick kadai and add 3 table spoon cooking oil, fine chopped garlic and ginger, diced onions, whole dried red chillies and stir fry them. Once the mix is golden brown, add diced capsicum, bell peppers, chunks of Broccoli and salt to taste with 1 teaspoon red chili powder, saute them over medium flame for 5 minutes, then add the fried chicken into the kadai and add soy sauce, honey and 3 cups of water. Now take 2 teaspoon of cornstarch in 1 cup of cold water  and mix well till no lumps are left and add it to the kadai. Bring the gravy to a boil and dry it to a consistency you like over medium flame.

Ingredients for Noodles:-

  1. 250gm boiled noodles ( you can use packed noodles and boil them to use)
  2. 5gm garlic
  3. 2-3 whole dried red chillies
  4. 2 spring onions
  5. Add any veggies if you like.

Method:-

Take a deep non-stick pan or kadai and add 2 table spoon of cooking oil, fine chopped garlic and whole dried red chillies. Wait till the garlic turns golden brown and add boiled noodles to kadai with salt and chilli powder to taste and toss it well till noodles seams to be well mixed with garlic. Now garnish the noodles with spring onions and plate the dish as shown in the image above.

NOTE:- Dip broccoli in hot water for 1 min before use as it enhances the flavors and cooks it partially.
